Hawaiian Lomilomi Massage with Applied Chi Kung (Energy Meridians and Chi Palms)

The Laogong are acupressure points nestled in the centers, the hearts, of our palms. The Laogong are located on the pericardium meridian lines flowing from our hearts, which are inspired by the light of the heavens and nurtured by the depths of the earth, into our palms, for sharing our gifts with others. Healers, cooks, musicians, writers, and artists know the Laogong well.

For Chi palm techniques, meridians, and acupressure points, see the book Chi and Creativity: Vital Energy and Your Inner Artist.

Emotional Harmony Qigong

Our deepest healing occurs when our physical, mental, emotional, energetic, subconscious, and spiritual selves are affected. In Emotional Harmony Qigong, color, sounds, smells, intention, and movement cleanse your body of excessive harmful emotions and nourish it with positive ones. Acupoints, meridians, and Dan Tians open and flow with Qi. Muscles, tissues, inner organs engage and pulse with blood. Subconscious and conscious minds bridge. In meditation you enter inner realms where you, in humility, touch your soul, and nourish with the Divine consciousness of grace, wisdom and love.

Then, to internalize the transformational process, you may choose to do journaling and art. The canvas becomes alive and breathes as you stretch its mind, awaken it with words, massage its fascia with colors and textures, and spiral into its vortices with Qi, temperatures, lines, and light.

Mahalo to our teachers of "Six Healing Sounds", Mantak Chia, Suzanne Friedman, and Gilles Marin.

Aloha Chi Kung

Ē Akua, ē kumu mai ola, O Divine, source of all life:
Inspire us; open our vessels of creative energy.
As we savor the fragrance of earth,
help us to release what harms us.
Guide us in the acceptance of ourselves and others.
Fill us with the blessings of your light and the strength of Gaia,
as we cleanse and nourish,
cleanse and nourish,
with grace, wisdom, and love.
‘Āmama, ua noa (the prayer is said, the intention released)

Aloha Chi Kung is a form that we, Elise and Kaleo, developed after 35 years of Chi Kung, Tai Chi, and Hatha Yoga practice. Its accompanying words were inspired as we moved in Chi Kung on the beach at Puna, Big Island of Hawai‘i. It is prayer in motion. Through movement, voice, and intention, Aloha Chi Kung opens the chakras and activates the Microcosmic Orbit and Extraordinary Vessels. For this practice, choose a special place in nature, where the earth supports and nurtures you and the expansiveness of the heavens blesses you.

Abba-Imma Chi Kung/Qigong (An Embodied Lord’s Prayer)

Speaking in chorus with the 2,000 year old utterance of Jesus’ “Our Father” prayer and moving in harmony with the ancient practice of Qigong, Abba-Imma Qigong blends Judeo-Christian and Daoist/Chinese Medicine wisdom and compassion for self and others. This embodied Lord's Prayer invokes and honors Abba-Imma, the Father-Mother God. It is grounded in the Chinese Medicine principles of Yin and Yang balance, the macrocosmic orbit, and the meridian systems.

The Abba-Imma Qigong draws in the gifts of the Divine Source (Chi of the heavens, environment, and earth). It harmonizes the emotions and summons the triadic synergy of body, psyche, and spirit. It is founded on the teachings of the past, engages the witnessing awareness of the now, and sparks the creative potential reaching toward what is yet to come. It enhances your intimacy with the Divine beyond and within.

Tiger’s Breath Chi Kung

Tiger’s Breath Chi Kung harvests Cosmic Chi (life force), deepens your inner wisdom, and promotes harmony on physical, energetic, psychological, and spiritual levels. It engages the body’s physiologic and organ-meridian systems, boosts the immune system, and promotes strength and flexibility. Ancestors and Spirit Guides

Chi Kung and guided imagery lead us into the realms of our ancestors and spirit guides. We journey with the ancestors through ancient lands to understand their legacy. We meet mentors from the spirit world and open to their special wisdom. We honor our ancestral and spiritual sources through creating masks of our guides, paintings of inner terrains, and poems from their stories.
